Step one
I come to your home and meet your cat on their own turf — no carrier, no car ride, no stress. We walk through feeding, litter, medication, hiding spots and the little habits that only you know. You get to decide whether you're comfortable with me in your home, and I get to make sure I'm the right fit for your cat. It costs nothing and there's no obligation to book afterward.
Step two
Everything from the Meet & Greet goes into a written plan: portions and brands, medication timing and method, litter setup, play preferences, your vet's details, emergency contacts, and how to reach you while you're away. You approve it before anything is booked, so nothing about your cat's routine is left to memory or improvisation.
Step three
Each visit is a full 30 minutes: fresh food and water, litter scooped and refreshed, medication given, play or quiet company depending on the cat, and a quick pass on the house — mail and packages in, lights rotated, plants watered if you asked. Then you get a photo, a short video and a plain-language note on how your cat actually did. Every visit, not just the first day.
Step four
Clean bowls, clean litter, and a cat who never had to leave home or meet a stranger. If anything about the care felt off, tell me within 72 hours of the first visit and I'll refund the entire booking — no forms, no debate.
In-home cat sitting means your cat never leaves the house. A sitter comes to you on a set schedule while you're away — usually once or twice a day — to feed, refresh water, scoop litter, give any medication, and spend real time with your cat. With BaskingPaws it starts with a free in-home Meet & Greet, followed by a written care plan you approve. Visits are 30 minutes each, the same sitter comes every time, and you receive a photo, a short video and a written update after each visit. Service is limited to Basking Ridge, Warren, Bernardsville, Gillette and Bedminster so the schedule never gets stretched thin.
